Overnight Security ; Part Time

A part‑time overnight security staff member is needed for our independent senior living community. The position works Saturdays and Sundays on the overnight shift. The ideal candidate is dependable, alert, observant, and comfortable working independently in a quiet setting.

• Conduct hourly perimeter walks of the apartment complex to ensure safety and security
• Monitor the property and remain alert throughout the shift
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist residents as needed
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or incidents
• Address unauthorized individuals on the property, including occasionally asking homeless individuals to vacate
• Complete incident reports and communicate any concerns to management
• Remain stationed indoors between scheduled rounds

• Ability to stay awake, alert, and attentive during overnight hours
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to walk the property hourly and respond quickly to situations
• Prior security or related experience preferred but not required

This position is generally quiet but requires a reliable individual who can respond calmly and effectively when situations arise.
