What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail or mall location.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, medical situations, and suspicious activity as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property, including interior common areas, tenant corridors, service areas, and exterior perimeter areas, as site conditions require.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation for incidents, patrol activities, and policy violations, and communicate updates to site management and/or responding public agencies as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
