As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrol in Austin, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly with both staff and visitors.

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting findings according to company protocols.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Complete required reports and documentation for all incidents, patrols, and security-related activities at the location.
• Remain visible and approachable to employees, visitors, and clients to provide assistance and reinforce a security-related presence.

• Supervisory experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an Associate's Degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• Must possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
