What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at retail locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing appropriate de‑escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail property and surrounding perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior or unauthorized individuals and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control procedures to help deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the retail location.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required during incidents or emergencies.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and maintain daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site‑specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification is required for roles in Texas only.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs is required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
