• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies to provide customer service at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail location to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or law enforcement as required.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter disruptive behavior and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

• A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
