• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry a firearm in accordance with applicable laws and Allied Universal protocols for armed posts.
• Conduct regular and patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business interior and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unwanted behavior.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
