Account Manager – Randstad Digital (Public Sector, Texas)

Randstad Digital is a leading global partner for talent and technology solutions. We are seeking a high-energy, autonomous Account Manager to serve as a strategic "Hunter" for our Public Sector team in Texas.

This isn't just an account management role; it’s an invitation to build your own "empire".

  • Strategic Ownership: You will manage the State of Texas as your territory, with a primary focus on the Austin capital region.
  • Pre-Approved Access: Leverage our established Master State Contracts

    ITSAC (IT Staffing) and DIR/DBITS (Professional Services/Solutions)—to open doors at state agencies, city/county governments, and higher education institutions.
  • Leadership Path: Success in this role has a clear trajectory toward Senior/Principal levels and potential future leadership as the Texas team expands.
What You Get to Do
  • Drive "Hunter" Growth: Proactively identify and engage new buyers across the Texas public sector.
  • Navigate Complex Sales: Lead high-impact RFP and RFQ processes for both IT staffing needs and long-term professional services/managed solutions.
  • Consultative Partnering: Act as an expert consultant, showing government agencies how digital transformation in cloud, data, and infrastructure can overcome "red tape" and improve citizen services.
  • Integrated Delivery: Work closely with our Frisco, TX delivery center and national project management teams to ensure seamless execution of every placement and project.
What You Need to Bring
  • 3–8 years of professional sales experience
    , demonstrating the maturity to work autonomously in a professional environment.
  • Public Sector Expertise: Prior experience in government sales (ideally within Texas) and a deep understanding of the formal bidding and procurement cycles.
  • Industry Versatility: A background in IT Staffing, Consulting, or Solutions is preferred. We are also open to candidates with software/hardware sales experience if they bring strong existing government relationships.
  • Resilience: The ability to navigate the slower pace and "red tape" of government sales with a long-term strategic mindset.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
  • Hybrid Model: This role follows Randstad Digital’s hybrid policy.

Randstad Digital operates in a hybrid work model in areas where we have offices. There should be no expectations that this is a full time remote role, even in areas where we have no offices at the time of hire. You are expected to comply with our hybrid work policy and guidelines.

Pay Rate: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 Annually + uncapped comission

Randstad offers competitive pay and bonus structures. Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate's total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
