The Account Manager I develops relationships with smaller to mid-sized clients in order to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and seeks business expansion opportunities with current clients. The Account Manager I has detailed knowledge of products and services being offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. The position may support higher-level account managers working with larger accounts.
Responsibilities- Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs.
- Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.
- Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals.
- Work with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients.
- Sales Quota Achievement - work incoming leads from marketing and directly with strategic and valued accounts to ensure opportunity generation necessary to achieve territory sales quotas.
- Relationship building
- Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organization. - Sales growth-- ensure our solutions are competitive and on target to meet the needs of the end user. Monitor opportunity progress to accurately project sales forecasts, meet delivery requirements, and opportunity validity.
- Dealer development
- Handle inquiries and requests from customers, address their needs and stay on top of accounts.
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role.
- Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer/client feedback.
