Associate Account Director (AAD)

Bazaarvoice is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Account Director (AAD) to join our high-performing Enterprise sales organization. This pivotal supporting role acts as a force multiplier for our most senior Account Directors (ADs) who manage complex, high-value enterprise accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and maximizing customer retention within some of our top customer accounts. This will include expertly managing smaller-dollar renewals, selling smaller dollar contracts, and handling paperwork questions and revisions.

What

You’ll Do
  • Own Small-Dollar Renewal Pipeline:
Directly manage the full renewal sales cycle for a dedicated portfolio of smaller-sized contracts. This includes timely outreach, negotiation of terms, and contract closure, ensuring zero churn in this segment.
  • Contract and Administrative Support:
Act as the primary internal resource for senior Account Directors, taking ownership of all routine operational tasks related to amendments, bookings, and transactional contract modifications.
  • Customer Operational Liaison:
Serve as the primary point of contact for routine customer inquiries related to billing, basic contract questions, and operational support for our Enterprise customers.
  • Support Account Strategy:
Collaborate closely with senior ADs to assist with strategic tasks, including preparing renewal forecasts for the small-dollar segment, assisting with multi-threading and account mapping documentation, and gathering necessary data to support strategic presentations.
  • Maintain Install Base Health:
Proactively monitor customer health metrics for assigned accounts, flagging potential risks related to renewals or usage to the senior AD and Client Success team.
  • System Mastery:
Become fluent in using our CRM (Salesforce) and pricing tools to ensure meticulous pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and complete adherence to all internal sales processes.
  • CAS (sampling) rebuys (Velocity/Anchor Only)
  • (Not Velocity/Not Anchor) Prospecting/Booking Meetings:
Prospect into net new contacts in your assigned customer base, uncovering new opportunities to expand our partnership with these accounts.
What You Bring
  • The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and eager to build a career in Enterprise SaaS sales.
  • Experience:

2-5 years of professional experience in full-cycle sales or account management role within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Process & Detail Orientation:
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, execute complex administrative processes flawlessly, and maintain exceptional attention to detail in contract management.
  • Communication

    Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting directly with clients via phone and email to resolve operational issues and manage the renewal process.
  • Technical Fluency:
Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce highly preferred) and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Ambition &

    Collaboration:

A motivated self-starter who thrives in a supportive, team‑centric environment and is eager to learn complex enterprise sales cycles from experienced leaders.
