Role Overview

Inside Sales Representative will interact with prospective customers through mostly phone, email, and digital channels; qualify new leads; advance opportunities through our sales process; help coordinate commercial projects; process orders; and maintain accurate records in our CRM system. This role will be instrumental in building new business relationships and commercializing exciting technologies, with potential for substantial career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond and qualify inbound inquiries from potential customers
  • Prospect target accounts in plastics, coatings, composites, and battery sectors
  • Schedule discovery meetings and technical presentations
  • Gather and document customer needs and market requirements
  • Work with our technical team to match graphene properties (strength, conductivity, barrier performance) to customer needs
  • Coordinate sample requests and application testing programs with customers
  • Support preparation of technical proposals and quotations
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in CRM
  • Generate and qualify sales leads through inbound response and outbound prospecting to technical markets
  • Coordinate between customers and technical teams to identify graphene applications and facilitate sample testing programs
  • Maintain CRM records and support the sales process from initial contact through proposal delivery
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of inside sales or business development experience in technical/industrial markets
  • Experience selling to manufacturing, R&D, or procurement contacts preferred
  • Strong communication skills with ability to understand and discuss technical product specifications
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
  • Self‑motivated with proven ability to meet sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Good understanding of materials science or industrial technologies preferred
  • Ability to learn technical product information and industry applications quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, Hub Spot, etc.) is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up
