This Sales Consultant in Training position supports, services, and maintains accounts. This position is responsible for stocking shelves, coolers, and building displays. In addition, this position will follow up after the deliveries are made by our drivers and service shelves from the liquor department storage areas. Candidates may also be responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in-store tastings, and servicing accounts.

This position is intended to train new personnel who will eventually have a sales territory.

• Travels around assigned territory to service accounts
• Checks quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, in stock and services the accounts
• Fills shelves from displays and back stock to ensure out-of-stock items are minimized
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers
• Communicates with Sales Representatives regarding changes in buyer's preferences, out-of-stock inventory, oversight in shelf space and any concerns or situations encountered during business hours
• Builds and develops trust and a strong working relationship with the retailer by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, having excellent customer service and a "can-do" attitude
• Performs other work-related tasks and special projects as assigned

• Work experience in the liquor industry, such as bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience, etc. – a plus
• Goal and results oriented
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work
• Competitive, self-motivated and customer-service oriented
• Professional written and oral communication skills a must
• Have reliable transportation with valid insurance
• Good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50-pound cases, sometimes repeatedly
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package)
