We’re looking for a Field Sales Account Executive to drive new business and grow sales in the Austin, TX territory
. In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with customers across multiple distribution channels and use a consultative approach to deliver solutions that meet their needs. You’ll work independently, manage your territory strategically, and have the opportunity to advance to a Senior Account Executive role after demonstrating success.
This position requires living within or near the assigned territory (approximately 20 miles).
What You’ll Do- Own Your Territory: Meet and exceed sales goals by developing new accounts and growing existing relationships.
- Plan & Execute: Create and manage a disciplined call cycle (5–7 appointments per day) and account business plans in partnership with your Regional Director.
- Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs, present solutions, and deliver value-added products and services to help their business thrive.
- Analyze & Optimize: Use tools like Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad to track performance, identify opportunities, and refine strategies.
- Stay Current: Maintain technical knowledge of Cooper Vision products and industry trends to position yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Promote & Educate: Develop marketing plans, participate in regional events, and represent Cooper Vision at optical shows.
- Administrative Excellence: Submit reports on time and manage diagnostic lens sets (requires lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Within Territory: ~80%
- Outside Territory: Conferences, trainings, and meetings (10–15%)
- Experience: 4+ years of B2B sales experience (tangible product sales preferred) with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
- Skills: Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce, Tableau, Showpad).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Other: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background checks.
