Overview
512 Apartment Locators is a real estate brokerage that helps renters find the right place to live in Austin and the surrounding areas. We’re looking for agents who are comfortable talking to people, staying organized, and keeping momentum throughout the day. You’ll work with a steady flow of inbound leads, but we also value agents who take initiative and generate their own opportunities.
Whatyou’ll do
- Source, originate and execute apartment / commercial leases and residential property purchasing and selling transactions
- Communicate through text, phone, email and proactive outreach
- Build accurate, thoughtful property reports (including comparables, market studies and other related analyses)
- Schedule and attend tours, develop relationships with residential and commercial properties (and respective developers), attend client and property-related events, etc.
- Stay on top of follow-ups, client needs and other ad-hoc projects (including marketing and advertising)
- Build your own book of business over time and develop professionally with a fast-growing firm
People who communicate well, move with purpose, and don’t wait to be entrepreneurial. You’ll have leads coming in, but you’ll also have room to create your own pipeline and develop your origination and sourcing capabilities.
Growth pathApartment locating is the core of your role, but when your clients are ready to buy a home or need commercial space, you can represent them under our brokerage’s full-service brand, Urban Door. You can continue apartment locating under 512, while also earning from home sales and commercial deals through Urban Door. Same company, expanded opportunities.
CompensationThis is a commission-based role with a potential eligibility of an additional discretionary year-end variable bonus, based on the individual’s personal contributions and the firm’s overall performance.
Full-time agents closing 8-12 leases per month generally earn $75,000 - $115,000+ per year, with top performers earning higher. Your income directly reflects your consistency and communication.
Consistent high-performers across all metrics (including upholding the firm’s values and core principles) may be selectively elected to a partnership-track at the sole discretion of the respective operating and steering committees.

- Based in Austin, Houston, DFW or San Antonio with significant comfort touring the city you’re based in
All work-related software, professional and communication systems will be provided by the firm.
