Commercial Insurance Agent

Coverage Outfitters is an independent insurance agency built for small business owners. Just like a reliable trail guide, we help them navigate the risks of running a business with clear, honest advice and coverage for their journey. Whether operating a café, a shop, or a hair salon, we’re here to equip businesses with the protection they need to weather the storms and keep moving forward with confidence.

We are looking for either a full‑time or part‑time licensed P&C insurance agent located anywhere in Texas (but ideally in Austin). This insurance producer will be responsible for selling small commercial insurance policies, providing advice on insurance options, handling insurance brokerage activities, and offering customer service to clients.

Responsibilities also include maintaining compliance with industry regulations, maintaining license continuing education requirements, managing client relationships, and ensuring excellent service standards. This is a 1099 position with uncapped commission potential. Although we don't offer a base salary, we do pay the highest commission splits in Texas (starting at 60% for new business).

• Experience in small commercial insurance sales
• Finance‑related skills and knowledge
• Licensed to sell P&C insurance in the state of Texas
