Amazon Web Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our Public Sector team in Perth. The territory covers a portfolio of State Government customers across W.A, working on impactful projects involving AI, data, analytics, cloud and IT modernisation. Key Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline.
  • Deliver on account strategies, identifying and building relationships with key decision‑makers.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to create and present compelling solutions that drive great customer outcomes.
  • Increase adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory.
  • Utilise internal resources to drive customer outcomes.
  • Increase revenue across a portfolio of customers to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts and drive net new business.
  • Challenge outdated approaches to IT.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions to customers.
  • Analyze sales metrics/data from your accounts to help evolve the strategy.
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement.
  • Build, develop and execute on an account and territory strategy.
  • Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities.
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services.
  • Develop long‑term strategic C‑level relationships with key accounts.
Basic Qualifications

7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C‑level executives.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing detailed go‑to‑market plans.
  • Experience working directly with government officials and regulatory bodies.
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies.
  • Experience with government procurement and contracting process.
