This position is responsible for managing and developing the full Riboli Family Wine portfolio across all channels of snackbar trade in Austin, Texas. The role involves field activity with wholesalers and direct interaction with off‑premise and on‑premise customers to drive new placements and promotions across the Riboli Family Wine portfolio of wines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Manage execution and ensure compliance with on‑premise and off‑premise trade channels (chain & independent).
- Target and influence key customers within the on‑premise and off‑premise channels.
- Assist the Regional Sales Director in presenting programming and planning to distributor management & salespersons to support portfolio development.
- Implement the Riboli Family Wines on‑ and off‑premise core SKU’s/brands in the field.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual formal business planning meetings with key distributor personnel to track progress versus plan and adapt accordingly.
- Submit weekly recaps to Riboli management.
- Complete and distribute monthly recaps to distributors to ensure that tertile distribution & volume plans are on track.
- Conduct general sales meetings, wine tastings, and educational classes to inform distributor management and salespersons about the Riboli Family Wine portfolio.
- Work in the market with distributor personnel to stay in tune with market conditions and trends and to help place Riboli Family Wines.
- Report all findings of market conditions and trends to the Regional Sales Director.
- Conduct wine dinners, tastings, and seminars to expound on any wine from the Riboli Family Wine portfolio and provide general wine knowledge.
- Add value to wholesalers by helping meet their business needs, becoming their preferred supplier.
- Work within the key budget guidelines set forth by Riboli management.
- Conform to working conditions to meet market demands, which may include evenings and weekends.
- Travel as necessary to meet job responsibilities.
- Work with top and middle management of wholesalers to identify problems and create solutions relating to the Riboli Family Wines portfolio.
- Job execution will break into following components:
- 70 % time in the field (on own, with wholesaler reps or Riboli management)
- 20 % time on wholesaler concentration (in market or conducting sales meetings/planning meetings)
- 10 % time on administration, pre‑planning and follow‑up.

Education, Experience and Skills- A four‑year college degree and/or equivalent work experience enabling the incumbent to perform job responsibilities as required. (Equivalent work experience could include supplier, distributor sales, or wine industry management jobs)
- Minimum of 3 + years of wine industry experience.
- Good written communication skills; the incumbent must possess the ability to develop and provide all necessary written reports, correspondence and presentations.
- Good oral communication and people skills; the incumbent must be able to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public in a professional and personable manner.
- Fluent knowledge of PC, working within Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other company software.
