We are seeking a customer‑centric Inside Sales Representative to join our central inside sales team at HID’s business area Identification Technologies (IDT). The role focuses on managing and growing existing U.S. customers while driving the lead‑management process. You will retain and grow customer accounts through strategic and tactical sales activities and own the lead‑management pipeline from initial contact to qualification, nurturing, and hand‑off for closing.

You will work with a global inside‑sales team and collaborate closely with U.S. outside‑sales colleagues.

Identification Technologies (IDT): IDT creates trusted identities for IoT via smart components and enabling services, including RFID, NFC, and BLE. Our solutions wirelessly connect, identify, collect, and manage data accurately across virtually any IoT application.

Responsibilities
  • Retain and grow existing customer accounts through strategic and tactical sales activities.
  • Own the lead‑management process from initial contact to qualification and nurturing, ensuring smooth hand‑off to closing teams.
  • Research and qualify leads to grow the IDT sales pipeline.
  • Create and maintain a database of prospective clients.
  • Serve as a champion of IDT products and services, providing sales support across all marketing channels.
  • Set up new customer accounts and manage account updates in CRM tools, ensuring compliance with internal documentation.
  • Provide quotations, review purchase orders (POs), and contribute to demand forecasting.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers and internal sales teams via phone and email, documenting all activities in CRM.
  • Plan and conduct presentations of IDT solutions to customers via phone, online tools, and email.
  • Occasionally accompany the sales team on visits to major accounts and trade shows.
  • Submit monthly reports in a timely manner as required by management.
  • Improve sales skills through training to enhance success rates.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Degree in Sales or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3‑5 years’ experience in inside sales, sales assistance, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in customer support or sales.
  • Customer‑oriented focus with a strong value‑add mindset.
  • Working knowledge of IDT product technical characteristics.
  • Initiative, organization, and effective multi‑tasking.
  • Strong CRM proficiency (Salesforce, Hub Spot, or similar).
  • Time‑management, communication, decision‑making, presentation, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while thriving in a team.
  • Comfortable working across languages and cultures.
  • Simultaneous task handling and timely project completion.
  • Continuous learning mindset for product and industry trends.
  • Knowledge or experience of the RFID industry is a plus.
