Job DescriptionSenior Sales Executive, Software – ESG, responsible for supporting global account managers in developing and executing multi‑year account plans, driving ESG software strategy, and ensuring strong customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Responsibilities- Support development of global account managers' multi‑year account plans.
- Contribute strategy for ESG software solutions by providing input on customer needs, pain points, and trends to product/service managers.
- Maintain an ongoing plan to prioritize portfolio of accounts, build and sustain relationships, and identify opportunities for software renewal.
- Use technical credibility to build relationships with buyers and centers of influence to support global account managers.
- Perform product demos and share insights on how to integrate ESG software into existing IT environments.
- Communicate the value proposition of ESG software solutions to clients, leveraging deep technical knowledge of customer platforms and systems.
- Serve as the main point of client contact for ESG software products/services throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain ongoing relationships after the initial sale to effectively convert software renewals.
- Work with minimal supervision on proposals, closings, discovery, and opportunity identification for ESG sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with solution architects to gather customer requirements and support sales opportunities with additional technical resources when needed.
- Provide input to account owners during account planning on potential growth opportunities within the assigned solution area.
- Build trusted advisor status with relevant account owners and support smooth hand‑off to implementation teams or customer success post‑sale.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and adhere to all physical and digital security practices.
- Bachelor's and/or graduate degree in software engineering or related field.
- Deep knowledge and experience selling SaaS solutions in ESG space.
- 5+ years of related sales experience.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.

What We Offer- Competitive compensation (estimated annual $210,000‑$250,000, including base salary of $105,000–$125,000 plus 100% of target performance based on the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan).
