Part Time Showroom Sales Specialist

Job Type: Part‑time (Saturdays required, evenings and weekend hours required)

• Provide interior design advice and product expertise, facilitate tile and stone selection, support project development to ensure completion of selection and sales.
• Log all client showroom visits, customer preferences and selection notes in CMT. Communicate with customers and internal team to track leads and close sales; report monthly sales closures.
• Prospect new business focusing on custom builders and residential designers, make outside sales calls, and follow up on leads.
• Maintain showroom samples and merchandising, including ordering, receiving and shipping customer examples.
• Plan and host showroom tours and events for industry trade; attend outside trade events to build relationships and brand awareness.

• Four‑year degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Competencies in sales/customer engagement, interior design, Auto‑CAD (plus color coordination and trend awareness).
• Creative problem‑solving skills to conceptualize and document solutions.
• Computer skills: MS Office, customer‑management tools.
• Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal skills.

• Requires standing, manual handling, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, occasional sitting, climbing or balancing.
• May lift and move up to 80 pounds.
• Exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, varied temperatures, and loud noise levels.
