Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate
$14.00 to $18.00 per hour. Commission structure pays up to 8% on transactions, averaging $3.66 extra per hour on top of hourly rate. Payrates will not be below any applicable local minimum wage requirements.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawn Broker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive, professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They work with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, and firearms (where licensed).
Responsibilities- Greets and interacts with all customers to build rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
- Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandising.
- Executes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handles all cash and negotiable items per established policies and regulatory requirements.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect.
- Partners with all employees to create a positive, memorable customer experience.
- Completes assigned training successfully.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting) as required.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient basic math calculations.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Availability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan InformationPawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
