Job Rate: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour
We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.
Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $3.73 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management/third‑key experience. Assistant Store Managers are accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store and promoting a positive, productive environment. This position partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations and satisfaction.
The role sets the tone for a customer‑centric environment, analyzes store financial statements to ensure goals are met, commits to the company’s asset protection program, promotes the business, and targets new customer acquisitions. All employees work with a wide variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).
This position offers an hourly wage, with Assistant Store Managers earning commission based on productivity and a bonus based on store performance. Actual pay will depend on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities of an Assistant Store Manager- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers friendly and professionally and rapidly addressing issues.
- Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent via company‑prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, ensuring all procedures protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, store systems, and enterprise reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of issued loans.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development.
- Communicate clearly with employees to align on mission and profit objectives.
- Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods as permitted by law (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated supervisory ability.
