Armed Vault Teller; PM Shift

Shift

3 pm – Midnight (or later).

Responsibilities

• Check identifying numbers or seals on bags of deposits and/or change shipments against receipts or manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts and manifests.
• Load/unload wagons or flatbed carts with bags/boxes of coin.
• Sort individual cargo items by route.
• Communicate verbally with co‑workers and customers via telephone.

Requirements

• Load/unload bags/boxes of currency, checks and coin weighing an average of 50 lb. per item several times per shift, 5–6 days a week.
• Push wagons, carts, buggies, dollies loaded with cargo weighing up to several hundred pounds.
• Perform repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, standing, walking, climbing, twisting, turning and reaching.
• Lift items weighing an average of 50 lb. from the floor.
• Walk continuously between bins, vaults, booths and counters.
• Stand on concrete floor ~80% of shift.
• Sign, record numbers by hand and prepare reports.
• Count, add, subtract and balance columns of numbers.
• Hold a valid firearms permit or meet applicable state firearms requirements.

Essential Functions / Job Qualifications

• Maintain stooped or squatting position for several minutes when sorting.
• Walk continuously between bins, vaults, booths and counters.
• Stand on concrete floor ~80% of shift.
• Read and speak English sufficiently for co‑worker and customer communication, and to read receipts, manifests and reports.
• Sign and record numbers by hand and prepare reports.
• Count, add, subtract and balance columns of numbers.
• Meet state handgun license/permit or Security Officer Commission requirements.

Human Performance Evaluation

• Lift: 25 lb vertical lift from 10 inches to 66 inches from the floor (1×).
• Lift‑Carry: 18 lb vertical lift from 1 inch to 44 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 15 ft (4×), 18 lb vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 300 ft (1×) and 50 lb vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 2 ft (2×).
• Push‑Pull:
  Horizontally transfer 47 lb of force on a sled (single, non‑dominant arm), 1 ft (2×).
• Repetitive Coupling:
  Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30 lb on both right and left hands (4× each).
