Come work and learn from one of the best Chef’s in the Austin area! Lake Austin Spa Resort is looking for Full-Time Line Cooks, Prep Cooks and Pantry Cooks. Lake Austin Spa Resort is an all-inclusive luxury spa resort that offers a truly unique guest experience. Responsibilities:
- Prepares work station before the start of each service and ensures all supplies needed are available.
- Preps food for service each day. Cooks items requested and works with other cooks in order to ensure a smooth service for our guests.
- Cleans work area and assists with kitchen clean-up, takes care of leftover food while maintaining food safety and procedures. Other line cook duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED, some culinary training preferred
- One year of previous experience in a quality restaurant
- Interested in healthy, delicious, fresh cuisine. We have our own gardens which provides a lot of our produce and herbs
- Must be available to work weekends/holidays
- A current Food Handlers Certificate is required prior to hiring
- Must be able to pass a criminal and employment history background check
- A love and passion for the culinary arts
