The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in a timely and efficient manner. This role ensures the kitchen is well-stocked with clean dishes and maintains a safe and sanitary environment.

The Dishwasher works closely with kitchen staff to support food preparation and service, ensuring a smooth workflow. Attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to cleanliness and safety standards are essential for success in this role. This role will be in-person located in our TCH location:

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, operate, and unload dishwashers efficiently and safely.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware by hand following established procedures.
• Assist in bussing tables and removing dirty dishes from dining areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area throughout the shift.
• Take out trash and dispose of waste according to company guidelines.
• Assist kitchen staff with cleaning tasks as needed (e.g., wiping down counters, sweeping floors).
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor.

• Active Food Handler’s License (Required)
• Active TABC Certification (Required)
• Minimum 3 months of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment (Preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods in a warm and potentially wet environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

• Casino gaming environment with noise, bright lights, and high-energy atmosphere.
• Professional kitchen environment involving exposure to heat, fast-paced conditions, and strict food safety standards.

• On-site, in-person role.
• Mobility:
  Ability to stand, walk, and move around the dishwashing area for extended periods, including bending, stooping, and reaching to wash and store dishes.
• Dexterity:
  Ability to handle and wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment with precision, and load/unload dish racks.
• Vision:
  Ability to inspect dishes and kitchen equipment to ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation.
• Hearing:
  Ability to hear equipment sounds, staff instructions, and any kitchen-related signals in a busy environment.
• Communication:
  Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Endurance:
  Ability to maintain physical stamina and focus during long shifts, handling repetitive tasks and a high volume of dishes.
• Lifting:
  Ability to lift and carry items, such as dish racks or containers, weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Heat:
  Ability to work in a hot environment, including exposure to hot water, steam, and heated equipment.
• Cold:
  Ability to work in cold areas, such as dish storage and refrigeration units.
• Environment:
  Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy kitchen environment with fluctuating temperatures and high volume demands.

• Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
• Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
• Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 hourly
