One postdoctoral research position in Geneva (Switzerland), with flexible start date between May and September 2026 (90%, up to 2.5 years)
The successful applicant will work with Prof. Dr. Evie Vergauwe (University of Geneva, Switzerland) and Prof. Dr. Jarrod Lewis-Peacock (University of Texas at Austin, USA) on a research project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. The project’s goal is to better understand the structure and functioning of human working memory using behavioral experiments, complemented by EEG when scientifically relevant.

Skills/Qualifications
Desired profile:
- PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related discipline (applicants with PhD defense planned in Spring/Summer 2026 can also apply)
- Extensive experience with experimental psychology research in humans
- Background in cognitive psychology and/or cognitive neuroscience, preferentially in the field of attention and memory
- Excellent research methods knowledge and skills
- Demonstrated scientific expertise, with publications in peer-reviewed journals or platforms
- Very good command of English (written and oral)
- Basic knowledge of French, or willingness to learn some basic French
- Willingness to travel (for conferences and/or international collaborations)
- Willingness to collaborate with other research groups
- Team spirit, and strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Willingness to supervise Master students
- Experience with open and reproducible research will be considered an advantage
- Experience with EEG will be considered an advantage
