PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in testing patient samples according to SOP.
- Meet expected performance metrics.
- Maintain updated understanding and knowledge of methods performed in the lab.
- Provide guidance for new team members.
- Follow GLP: maintain clean and organized workspace.
- Complete training and deadlines on time.
- Recognize and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and processing errors per SOP.
- Document and report protocol deviations to lead/supervisor.
- Communicate with team and other departments via e‑mail and other platforms.
- Provide feedback on schedule and tasks to lead/supervisor.
- Assist teammates in completing daily tasks.
- Maintain equipment and instruments in good operating condition (calibration, expiration).
- Maintain inventory of material, supplies, equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects (TAG, 5S).
- Conduct oneself professionally.
- Adhere to departmental expectations.
- Work with PHI and complete HIPAA/PHI privacy training within first 30 days; maintain current Natera training status.
- Pass post‑offer criminal background check.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- BS/BA in biological science or related field.
- 0‑2 years of industry‑related experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, computer, and technical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Word processing and data management.
- Ability to work well in a group.
- Ability to discern color visually (or evaluate cellular morphology) and pass applicable screening assessment.
