Keep Innovation Moving-Behind the Scenes and By Design. Advantage Technical is hiring a detail-oriented R&D Lab Support Technician to support a fast-paced research and development laboratory. This short-term opportunity is ideal for professionals experienced in lab operations, equipment documentation, and quality systems who want to make an immediate impact on compliance and readiness.
- Pay Rate: $34/hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00am-4:30pm
- Duration: 1-month project
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
In this role, you'll help ensure R&D lab equipment, documentation, and materials meet strict quality and compliance standards. Your work will directly support ongoing R&D activities and audit readiness.
What You'll Do- Enter and manage R&D equipment data in asset management systems, including labeling and identification
- Update and revise equipment documentation such as calibration requirements and preventive maintenance records
- Review completed equipment software validations to ensure alignment with company and quality requirements
- Log, label, and track laboratory chemicals (e.g., acetone, alcohol) and manage SDS documentation per material control procedures
- Support Quality Systems by maintaining compliance across all assigned tasks
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in a related technical or laboratory discipline
- 3+ years of experience supporting R&D labs, laboratory equipment, or quality-controlled environments
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Familiarity with quality systems, compliance, and lab safety procedures
