OverviewThe Woolfolk Center for Language Disorders Research seeks a Research Program Coordinator to support the Associate Director in coordinating research projects across multiple testing sites. This 2‑year position (continuation dependent on funding) spans December 31 2027 and is located on UT‑Austin’s main campus.
PurposeCoordinate daily operations of the research projects at the Woolfolk Center for Language Disorders Research.
Responsibilities- Support the Associate Director in day‑to‑day coordination and communications regarding program activities.
- Manage the research program calendars, scheduling and communication with staff and participants.
- Maintain research records and ensure data fidelity using REDCap and other systems.
- Assist in generating and maintaining data files for analysis.
- Assist in development and submission of IRB proposals and revisions.
- Coordinate participant recruitment by engaging families and community partners.
- Assist with fiscal management, budgeting, reimbursements and payment processing.
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience coordinating or administering a research and/or clinical program or Master’s degree and one year of experience in the same area.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience coordinating a research project.
- Experience with REDCap.
- Strong organizational and project‑management skills.
- Training in the field of speech‑language pathology.
$50,000+ depending on qualifications
Working Conditions- Monday—Friday 8‑5. Occasional weekend evening work for community events for recruitment.
