Development Associate

We are working of behalf of a well established company who are seeking a motivated Development Associate to support their real estate development team. This role assists with property acquisition, project planning, due diligence, financial analysis, and construction coordination for affordable and market-rate housing projects.

• Support property evaluation, acquisition, and due diligence processes
• Assist with drafting letters of intent, contracts, and related documentation
• Help prepare preliminary budgets, timelines, and development schedules
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, appraisers, and other consultants
• Assist with financial underwriting and market analysis
• Support housing tax credit applications and compliance reporting
• Help manage construction draws and funding requests
• Prepare materials for public presentations and stakeholder meetings
• Maintain project documentation and reporting deadlines
• Provide administrative support to development and asset management teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams (Access/Project a plus)
• Understanding of real estate and financial principles
