Quality Assurance Inspector

Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance (OQA) Inspector to serve as the final quality gate for semiconductor products. This role owns the Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) process end-to-end, including equipment troubleshooting, defect analysis, root-cause investigation, and CAPA validation to ensure non-conforming materials are contained and prevented.

• Operate, load, and troubleshoot Rudolph AVI systems and SEMES review stations
• Perform advanced defect classification and manual microscope inspections (Olympus)
• Lead investigations on non-conforming materials and drive root-cause analysis
• Generate detailed quality summary reports for leadership
• Manage SPC and AQL decision processes
• Serve as primary quality escalation point on the factory floor
• Partner cross-functionally to drive containment and corrective actions

• 3+ years of experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing
• Strong working knowledge of SPC and AQL methodologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand or sit for 12-hour shifts and lift up to 25 lbs
• Strong written and verbal communication

• Hands-on experience with Rudolph AVI equipment
• Experience with SEMES review stations
• Experience using Olympus microscopes

• Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent military experience
