The Veterinary Technician is responsible for a wide range of tasks related to customer service and patient care, including animal handling, pre- and post-operative patient care, creating and presenting financial options, accurately entering service charges into the client database, extensive client interaction, and preparing medications.

• Provide hands‑on care throughout patients’ journeys, from outpatient treatments to surgery assistance.
• Perform laboratory tests, IV catheter placement, and IV, IM, and SQ injections.
• Monitor anesthesia and operate various monitoring equipment.
• Assist with admitting and discharging patients.
• Handle customer interactions and present financial options.

• Previous veterinary technician/assistant experience required.
• Licensed Technician preferred but not required.
• Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood work, and IV, IM, and SQ injections.
• Proficient in monitoring anesthesia and using monitoring equipment.
• Team player, self‑motivated, and eager to learn.
• Enjoys a challenging, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (email, file management, typing, etc.).
• Ability to multi‑task with a positive attitude.

Hourly pay starts at $20–$25 for non‑licensed techs and $25–$30 for licensed techs. The actual rate offered will consider your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
