Generalist with Clinical Research Focus (DABVP-Preferred)

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a passionate Generalist with clinical research experience or a strong passion to build competency in clinical research to join our newly established Clinical Study Center in Austin, TX. We prefer candidates who are board‑certified (DABVP), currently pursuing certification, or interested in pursuing it in the future; we also welcome applicants with strong research backgrounds or interests who do not hold a DABVP.

This unique role is ideal for a well‑rounded clinician who enjoys variety in their caseload, is eager to contribute to advancing veterinary medicine, and values evidence‑based practice.

• Partner with a board‑certified Medical Oncologist and dedicated support staff to conduct sponsored clinical research trials, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) studies, proof‑of‑concept investigations, and industry‑sponsored projects.
• Collaborate with leading veterinary pharmaceutical, pet food, medical device, and diagnostic companies to help shape the future of veterinary medicine.
• Provide high‑quality patient care while giving clients access to fully funded treatment options through research studies, reducing or eliminating financial barriers for eligible patients.
• Manage a diverse caseload that spans beyond traditional GP work—including chronic disease, pain management, and other emerging areas of research.
• Benefit from a structured research framework where projects are provided, allowing focus on clinical execution, patient care, and data collection rather than grant writing.
• Receive protected time for data entry and research coordination, ensuring compliance with protocols and high‑quality documentation.
