hands-on externship experience

Veterinary students will work closely with our experienced associate veterinarians and gain practical experience in:

• Conducting physical exams and gathering patient histories
• Developing and implementing diagnostic and treatment plans
• Assisting with or observing surgical and dental procedures
• Participating in diagnostics and case management
• Practicing communication and client education
• Observing the operational side of a busy general practice
• Active participation as part of our medical team

• Duration: minimum 2 weeks, up to 4 weeks (flexible based on student/hospital schedules)
• Open to: DVM students
• Stipend:
  Up to $1,500 available for students in the clinical phase
