Corza Construction is currently accepting applications for the position of Groundskeeping Foreman.

The Groundskeeping Foreman is responsible for supervising grounds crews and contributing to the completion of landscaping and maintenance tasks at assigned properties. This position ensures that all grounds are properly maintained through the safe and efficient use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.

• Supervise, train, and motivate crew members to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
• Inspect work progress, equipment, and sites to verify safety and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Assign tasks to employees based on job requirements, equipment availability, and crew capacity.
• Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation tools.
• Safely drive trucks with attached trailers or other vehicles to and from work sites.
• Perform physical labor such as mowing, edging, planting, mulching, pruning, fertilizing, and general landscape upkeep.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are properly maintained, cleaned, and stored.
• Coordinate the removal of debris, trash, and hazardous materials from properties.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
• Communicate effectively with property managers, supervisors, and clients regarding project updates or issues.
• Enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions to meet operational needs.
• Must be punctual.

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Must pass a background check.
• Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a must.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience.
• Must work with crew members in high temperatures.
• Must be a team player.

Receives supervision from the project manager. The primary duties are performed outdoors with physical activity, standing and walking for extended periods. Exposure to hazards or physical risks requires basic safety precautions.
