• Provide comprehensive wound assessments and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies

• Monitor and manage complex wounds, including pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, and surgical sites

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans

• Educate residents, families, and team members on wound prevention and healing

• Participate in an on-call rotation as part of the nursing leadership team

• Track, document, and report wound healing progress and clinical outcomes

• Be part of a collaborative, resident-centered care team

• Play a key role in clinical decision‑making and leadership

• Gain access to ongoing training and wound care education

• Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN nursing program (RN strongly preferred)

• Active nursing license in good standing in the State of Texas

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
  , preferably in long‑term care or skilled nursing

• Continuing education in wound care and pressure injury staging required
  (Wound care certification preferred but not required)

• Excellent documentation, communication, and clinical assessment skills

• Must be willing to participate in the on-call rotation and support leadership as needed
