TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) position in Austin, Texas. The assignment is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts, and is a travel nursing opportunity.

We’re looking for Post Anesthesia Care Unit RNs for an immediate opening. The ideal RN should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a PACU RN, you will provide observation and care for post‑op patients as they recover from surgical anesthesia, monitor for adverse reactions, and prepare patients for transfer to a recovery room.
- Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
- Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
- Monitor critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
- Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
Physical requirements:
stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty; lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when assisting patient movements.
ACLS, BLS, 1 year of experience. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
