Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Shock Trauma ICU – Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule:
Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract, no on-call required
Highlights:
10-bed Shock Trauma ICU specializing in critically ill trauma patients
Patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity
Utilize Meditech EMR and current equipment including GE bedside monitors and Alaris pumps
Collaborative night shift team with charge nurse and experienced RN staff
Advanced critical care procedures including EVDs, arterial lines, central lines, and chest tubes
Permanent position opportunities available for qualified candidates
Requirements:
Current RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
Trauma ICU or Surgical ICU experience strongly preferred
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Preferred certifications: TNCC or CATN
Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and documentation
Strong teamwork skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
