Key Responsibilities of the Med Surg Travel Nurse
Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting.
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and treatments.
Administer medications and therapies according to physician orders.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes.
Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions.

Requirements of the Med Surg Travel Nurse
Active Texas RN license (or eligibility to obtain).
Previous Med Surg nursing experience preferred.
Current BLS certification required.
Strong clinical judgment, organizational, and communication skills.
