Role Description

This full-time, on-site position as a Registered Nurse is located near UT and SDMC, in Austin, TX 78705. The role with the Center for Hip and Knee Replacement involves Phone Triage, providing minimal direct patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes, and accurately documenting patient interactions and treatments. Responsibilities also include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, supporting patient education, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, prioritizing exceptional patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in patient care, including monitoring, treatment administration, and patient assessment
  • Ability to educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Excellent documentation, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and adherence to safety protocols
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on collaborative patient care
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
  • BLS and ACLS certifications as required
  • BSN degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience in hospital or clinical nursing is a plus
