This is a full-time Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm position with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join our team! This position will support the Central Austin location. This is a full-time Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm position with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

What is the Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)? Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) is an incentive program that typically vests over a three-year period and is tied to both individual performance and the operational success of Texas Oncology. Awards are discretionary and based on your position, performance, and potential for future career growth at Texas Oncology. Awards are reviewed and approved during the annual compensation review.

LTIP awards are subject to your continued employment through the award payment date and are governed by the LTIP document.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Oversight
    • Oversees the clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities.
  • Ensure adequate staffing/FTEs for assigned clinics
    • Maintains effective nursing staff coverage and operating costs for the practice and/or satellites within budget parameters.
  • Ensure clinical operations and practice are aligned with organizational objectives
    • Monitors and evaluates patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures.
  • Staff Development
    • Coordinates, implements, and assists with staff training, in-services, and internal developmental programs for nursing staff.
    • Assists with annual performance evaluations for nursing department staff.
    • Serves as mentor/preceptor and provides day-to-day guidance to less experienced nurses.
    • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred.
  • RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
  • Minimum 5 years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least 3 years in oncology.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
  • Current or pending oncology certification preferred.
  • Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy provider card preferred.

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
