Description
Austin Anesthesiology Group (AAG) offers a flexible schedule in various surgical settings. We provide anesthesia services for much of the St. David’s Health Care system in the Austin area. St. David’s Medical Center is home to the world‑renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. In addition to St. David’s Medical Center, our practice provides anesthesia services ’s North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center and accompanying outpatient surgery centers.
CaseAssignments
Our practice covers the full range of specialties including general inpatient and outpatient cases, trauma, OB, neuro, EP and more. CRNAs do their own spinals, as well as epidurals and arterial lines on a case‑by‑case basis.
Shifts- Available shifts: 8, 10, 12, 16, 24
- Permanent evening and weekend shifts are also available.
- Night Float Shift: Night shift 7 nights on/7 nights off
- 7‑days on/7‑days off Day Shift options
- Weekend Only Shift options
- Premium pay for weekend call and overtime.

Team HighlightsOur diverse group is composed of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs who provide anesthesia services in a care team model; team members are exposed to a wide variety of complex cases. Responsibilities- Pre‑anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

- Salary:
Based on years of experience: $200K – $260K - Sign‑on Incentives (Bonus with/without retention, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment): $100K
