Job specification

• Provide nursing care to patients with behavioral health issues, including assessments, interventions, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address each patient's needs.
• Monitor patients for changes in behavior, mental status, and physical health, and respond appropriately.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Candidate requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required;
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine compassion for patients in distress.
