Job specification

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Observation and Med-Surg Units, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care in alignment with hospital standards and best practices.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in patient condition promptly, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and support patient recovery through treatments and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to coordinate patient care.

Candidate requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is considered with relevant experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, ideally within an Observation or Med-Surg setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills essential to patient care and team collaboration.
