We are a leading substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment facility committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our integrated approach focuses on holistic healing, medical stabilization, and long-term recovery.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a passion for addiction medicine and mental health. The FNP will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive medical care, medication management, and patient education for individuals in residential, outpatient, and detox programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical evaluations for patients entering treatment, including physical exams and history-taking.
  • Provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and psychiatric medication management as needed.
  • Monitor and manage withdrawal symptoms, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to develop integrated treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on substance use disorders, harm reduction, and relapse prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and DEA guidelines.
  • Document all patient interactions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system accurately and timely.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in the state of Texas (Required)
  • DEA X-waiver (or willingness to obtain) for prescribing buprenorphine for opioid use disorder
  • Experience in addiction medicine, behavioral health, or primary care (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of MAT, co-occurring disorders, and trauma-informed care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
