Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Night Shift)

Must float to facility FSEDs as needed. Rotating weekends required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This unit consists of 48 private rooms, hallway stretchers, and specific areas for behavioral health and fast track services.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nursing procedures including EKGs, splinting, central line placement, and airway support.
• Monitor and manage patient care in the emergency department, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Assist in trauma-related interventions and behavioral health de-escalation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with trauma and behavioral health settings preferred.
• Proficiency in Meditech EMR is advantageous.
