RBI Austin is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Development Coordinator to join our team. Under the direction of the Development Director, you will:
- Coordinate the administrative execution of RBI Austin’s fundraising and development activities
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of gifts, pledges, donor records, and development reporting
- Support donor stewardship efforts through tracking engagement, preparing materials, and coordinating communication
- Provide administrative coordination for fundraising events, committees, and campaigns
- Empower the Development Team through reliable operational support that strengthens relationships and advances RBI Austin’s mission
As a member of the development team, you will help steward the resources that fuel RBI Austin’s work and serve as a trusted support to donors, sponsors, volunteers, and staff as we pursue lasting impact in Austin.
Primary Responsibilities Donor Management & Care- Actively works with the Development Director and Development team members to successfully execute RBI Austin’s Annual Development Plan.
- Supports the successful execution of donor stewardship and portfolio management through high-quality administrative support including managing the gift fulfillment process.
- Processes and records all gifts and pledges with accuracy and timeliness and maintain all files pertinent to gifts, including, but not limited to, the management of the donor database.
- Prepares summary reports on pledges, gifts, and fundraising progress including keeping development dashboards and internal reporting up-to-date and accurate.
- Works with the Finance Team to prepare and send donor tax receipts and provide compliance information and reports as needed for the department.
- Empowers the Development Team through calendar management and administrative support, including fundraising events, Mission Growth Committee, and capital campaign.
- Supports the Development Director and board of directors on fundraising initiatives.
- Executes other general & administrative tasks to support the team.
- Manages guest lists, tracks gifts/pledges for fundraising events, and provides other administrative support for successful event execution.
- Provides administrative support to event committees (ex. Now at Bat Host Committee) such as meeting coordination, minutes, tracking auction items, calendar management, etc.
- Assists with live and silent auctions including logistics, package tracking, and follow-up.
- Accuracy and timeliness of gift processing, donor database management, and development reporting
- Effectiveness of administrative support for donor stewardship, portfolio management, and departmental operations
- Successful execution of event administrative logistics and responsiveness in supporting the Development Team
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 1–3 years of experience in administration, nonprofit operations, fundraising support, or a related field
- Demonstrated organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with databases, reporting tools, or administrative systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to support donor stewardship, events, and departmental operations with reliability and professionalism
- Commitment to RBI Austin’s Christian mission, values, and expectations
- Ability to work periodic evenings and weekends for events
The position will receive an annual salary between $48,000 and $55,000 in addition to the perks and benefits below.

This is a full-time (40 hrs/week), salaried position working Monday through Friday, with some night and weekend work periodically during the year. This position is exempt from overtime; hours not tracked.
