CATCH Global Foundation ("CATCH") is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering PreK‑12 educators, youth, and communities through evidence‑based health, wellness, and social‑emotional learning programs. Serving schools and communities worldwide, CATCH partners with schools, public agencies, corporations, philanthropies, and community‑based organizations to create sustainable, measurable impact on children's health.

We are a fully remote team with a dynamic, collaborative culture. While originally headquartered in Austin, TX where many staff reside, CATCH staff work virtually across the U.S. and gather for periodic retreats to build relationships and align on mission and strategy.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Business Development is a leadership role responsible for driving diversified revenue growth for CATCH Global Foundation worldwide. This position leads the strategy, development, and execution of revenue initiatives other than standard fee‑for‑service, including grants, customized service projects, sponsor ships, licensing agreements,archivo individual fundraising, and revenue‑generating strategic partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to grow new revenue streams across philanthropic, corporate, government, and other partnership channels.
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue opportunities for grants, customized program services, state curriculum adoption, sponsor ships, licensing, cause‑marketing, and other fundraising.
  • Set and meet revenue and qualitative targets, and track individual and team performance.
Funder Recruitment and Proposal Development

  • Lead prospecting and cultivation of foundation, corporate, government, and other large non‑standard opportunities in collaboration with program and community partnership teams.
  • Expand revenue from customized services, training, program adaptations, and consulting projects for schools, districts, corporations, and community organizations.
  • Identify scalable service and licensing opportunities that leverageobra

  • Identify sponsorship and underwriting opportunities tied to events, campaigns, and programs.
  • Recruit and identify school district partners or other coalition members as needed to develop successful proposals.
  • Monitor RFP and grant proposal opportunity postings through multiple sources.
  • Oversee RFP response and proposal development, budgeting, and alignment with funder priorities and CATCH’s mission.
  • Structure partnership agreements, including licensing and fee‑for‑service arrangements, ensuring financial and mission alignment.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling partnership value propositions.
Relationship Management & External Engagement
  • Serve as a key external ambassador for CATCH with funders, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Build a strong pipeline of prospects and manage relationships from initial outreach through closing and stewardship.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with institutional funders and partners.
  • Manage a high‑performing team.
  • Work cross‑functionally with program, finance, marketing, and community partnership teams to ensure workplan and financial feasibility, and MAGIC alignment.
  • Contribute to organizational planning and growth initiatives as part of the leadership team.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
    • Sustained success in business development, advancement, fundraising, or revenue growth roles, preferably in a nonprofit, education, or social impact organization.
    • Experience generating new revenue through multiple channels (grants, partnerships, service contracts, sponsor ships, etc.).
    • Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and closing skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including financial, workplan, and narrative proposal and pitch development.
    • Experience with nonprofit licensing or intellectualidz property‑based revenue models.
    • Familiarity with education, youth development, public health, or social‑emotional learning sectors.
