Role SummaryOur client is looking for a Creative Director who is both a visionary and a doer — a creative leader who can shape the next evolution of the brand while driving execution across packaging, content, campaigns, and social media.
This role owns brand identity, creative strategy, and storytelling across every touchpoint — from packaging and advertising to retail, digital, and experiential activations. The ideal candidate has helped scale a fast-growing CPG brand beyond $100M and thrives in a hands-on, fast-moving environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Leadership and Strategy
- Ensure consistency of brand voice and storytelling across all channels — digital, retail, experiential, and PR
- Lead creative strategy for packaging refreshes, line extensions, and new product launches
- Partner with leadership to refine and elevate the brand narrative to consumers, media, trade, and investors
Social Media and Content Creation
- Own creative direction for social channels (Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, Linked In)
- Develop a content calendar blending storytelling, trends, and brand campaigns
- Lead content production with designers, creators, and editors
- Track performance metrics to continuously evolve creative strategy for engagement and growth
Campaign and Advertising
- Concept and execute omnichannel campaigns — digital, paid media, and retail activations
- Collaborate with Digital and Growth teams to align creative strategy with conversion performance
- Lead creative reviews for ads, influencer content, and brand partnerships
Retail and Experiential
- Strengthen brand presence in-store through packaging, displays, and merchandising
- Lead trade show, event, and sampling activations that bring the brand to life
Team and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build and mentor a small but mighty creative team as the brand scales
- Work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Digital to align creative with business objectives
- Ensure creative output drives measurable results in awareness, trial, and loyalty
- 5+ years in creative or brand leadership roles within high-growth CPG food/beverage
- Proven experience scaling a consumer brand from growth stage to national recognition
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both visionary brand building and hands-on creative execution
- Expertise in packaging design, digital content, advertising, and retail merchandising
- Comfortable moving between big-picture brand strategy and day-to-day tasks
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, category dynamics, and brand positioning in competitive markets
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and storytelling skills
