Senior Specialist, Partner Communications Introduction to the team

We create and deliver tailored marketing strategies for Expedia Group’s brands, focusing on establishing strong connections and cohesive experiences for travelers and partners. We leverage our functional expertise and creative excellence to build trust and loyalty for our brands through innovative marketing approaches and technology.

The Senior Specialist, Partner Communications is a strategic and hands-on marketing role responsible for driving thought leadership, storytelling, and multimedia content initiatives that strengthen engagement with partners and advance business goals. This individual will lead the creation, execution, and performance measurement of content across multiple partner channels—ensuring all deliverables are aligned with the global brand narrative while meeting regional needs.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead Thought Leadership Campaigns:
    Support top-of-funnel partner thought leadership initiatives designed to elevate brand perception and drive awareness across target markets.
  • Multimedia Strategy & Storytelling:
    Provide guidance on video and other multimedia narrative approaches that deepen partner engagement and align with business objectives.
  • Content Production & Management:
    Plan, produce, distribute, and measure performance of multimedia content across partner web and digital channels; ensure all content aligns with brand and creative standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Partner closely with internal teams—marketing, brand, creative—and external agencies or vendors to deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns.
  • Podcast Production Ownership:
    Helps to lead the strategy, production, and distribution of the Powering Travel podcast; identify and pilot new content formats and channels to expand audience reach.
  • Event & Testimonial Content:
    Oversee end-to-end production of partner testimonials, event-driven video/audio content, and other storytelling projects tied to major events such as EXPLORE and key industry gatherings.
  • Partner Newsletter Management:
    Own the planning, development, and delivery of the quarterly Partner Communications newsletter.
  • Brand Alignment:
    Ensure all partner content and campaigns adhere to the global brand framework while tailoring messaging to reflect regional market insights and priorities.
What success looks like:
  • Increased engagement and brand alignment across all partner-facing communication channels.
  • Tangible growth in multimedia reach and content performance metrics (downloads, traffic to web, social engagement, PR coverage)
  • Clear, consistent partner storytelling that supports organizational and regional business objectives.
Experience and qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in partner communications, cross-functional marketing team coordination, or similar.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar, or equivalent level of work experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, website content management systems, and major social media platforms.
