As a Tesla Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the optimal operation of manufacturing equipment through advanced troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, mechanical systems, robotics, and conveyors. Your role involves maintaining system efficiency, minimizing downtime, and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance equipment reliability.

• Conduct comprehensive preventative maintenance on industrial production equipment, including advanced mechatronics and automation systems
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC to 480 VAC, 3‑phase, ensuring precise fault detection and resolution
• Perform in‑depth corrective maintenance on hydraulic and mechanical systems, including diagnostics, component replacement, and system calibration
• Diagnose and resolve issues in PLC‑controlled systems and robotics, utilizing schematics and programming knowledge for effective repairs
• Operate and maintain all cells on the production line, addressing issues in conveyor systems and optimizing performance
• Input and manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedule planning to ensure timely and efficient maintenance activities
• Accurately log all maintenance activities, generate detailed reports, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance for manufacturing equipment, with a strong background in electrical systems, PLCs, and hydraulics
• Advanced skills in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and PLCs, with a thorough understanding of circuit schematics and fault analysis
• Proficient in hydraulic and pneumatic system diagnostics, including the use of advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
• Expertise in mechanical systems and conveyor maintenance, with the ability to address complex mechanical failures and optimize system efficiency
• Skilled in interpreting and utilizing technical drawings and schematics for maintenance and repair tasks
• Strong problem‑solving capabilities with a focus on implementing effective, long‑term solutions for equipment reliability

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day on varied and uneven terrain including concrete surfaces
• Can stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist, and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day
• Must be able to frequently and repetitively lift/carry 30 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. infrequently
• Frequently and repetitively push heavy carts and dollies
• Can carry up to 20 lbs. up and down flights of stairs multiple times a day
• Ability to drive cars & trucks back and forth while being outside of the factory for up to 12 hours/day
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures while bearing hand tools on their person. For example, climbing ladders while wearing a tool belt
• Ability to identify issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing the above‑mentioned activities
• Ability to correctly wear respiratory protection such as half and full‑face respirators, if required, for up to 12 hours/day
• Ability to perform the above‑mentioned activities while working in outdoor weather conditions
